This Custom 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster From Germany Is Nothing Short Of Sinister
Dubbed the ’Project X’, the bike actually began even before the bike’s official global debut and is backed up by Harley themselvesby Punya Sharma, on LISTEN 02:16
The Harley-Davidson Nightster is barely a month old, yet German custom shop Thunderbike has already gone ahead and transformed it into a staggering piece of art.
Of course, it goes without saying that Harley itself had a role to play here since the project actually began before the Nightster was actually unveiled to the world.
Anyway, let’s take a closer look at the bike.
Custom Harley-Davidson Nighster By Thunderbikes
Dubbed the ‘Project X’, the build took a total of sixty days and it essentially showcases Thunderbikes’ homemade Nightster-dedicated parts expected to go on sale separately in the future.
There are a total of eighteen custom parts made especially for this build (a dedicated list is present here) and equal attention was paid to small parts such as the indicators and bigger elements such as the fenders.
My favorite bits on the bike are the custom spoke alloy wheels and the radiator cover which has a laser-cut ‘H’ on it. Talk about attention to detail!
To wrap off the aesthetics, Thunderbikes covered the whole bike in a gloss black color, and not even the engine was spared. As a result, the whole bike looks properly sinister, ready to blend in the night.
Thunderbikes didn’t just stop here, though. The team went on to lower the center of gravity of the Nighster by lowering the forks and shortening the rear shocks. Not only does this make the bike look godly, but it’ll also help the rider put all the power down available via the new Rev Max 975 engine.
Speaking of which, there aren’t any engine mods here. The custom shop has, however, shortened the stock exhaust to make it look more in line with the rest of the build.
Apart from all these mods, Thunderbikes also threw in a custom rear tail light, indicators, clutch, brake levers, and a leather seat to finish things off.
Can You Buy It?
The price of the Project X is unknown for now, but as I mentioned above, most of these parts are expected to be sold separately by the shop.
All that you need to worry about is sourcing these bits from Germany.
