If you’re a regular here (thank you!), you already know just how much we love Harley-Davidsons and custom bikes based on them. Even though there are uncountable Harley builds worldwide, only a few possess the power to stand out. A prime example is this custom Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special prepared by Southern County Customs that not only looks uber-cool but even costs considerably more than the Ford Mustang Mach 1.

Custom Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special By Southern County Customs

A quick glance at this Road Glide Special is enough to tell you it isn't normal. A lot of the credit here goes to the stunning tricolor livery comprising nardo grey, vivid black, and neon orange graphics, complete with neon orange engine casing and custom 26-inch front alloy wheel.

Also part of the package is a reworked fairing with a tinted windscreen up top, which hides a custom, taller handlebars behind it. Similarly, the rider sits on a redesigned seat wrapped in a leather cover with orange stitching to go with the livery.

The Road Glide Special is already ripe with features in its stock avatar, so SCC did little there, and only upgraded the audio system with additional amps, custom speaker lids, and 6x9 speakers from Soundz. They also threw in an electric side stand to make life easier for the rider.

Instead of the features, SCC focused on the mechanicals and revamped the Milwaukee 114 engine with upgraded cams, intake, and a free-flow exhaust. It’s safe to assume the bike is putting out substantially more power than its stock self.

Like the engine, the underpinnings get an overhaul too, featuring an air ride system instead of the stock suspension. Not only does this help attain an eye-pleasing stance, but it also means infinite adjustability to tackle any scenario.

What’s The Price?

Remember when we said the bike costs more than the Ford Mach 1? Well, that’s because SCC has priced this custom Road Glide at a whopping $74,500. For reference, this is nearly twenty grand more than the Mach 1 and just five grand shy of the Shelby GT 500.

Nevertheless, if you think you can afford the custom Road Glide, we suggest you hit up Southern County Customs, while people like us (who can’t afford it) can enjoy the bike’s video below.
