Cold hands are a drag, no doubt about it, and for many, accessory heated handgrips are the only fix. Bless them, I say, for being willing to brave the frozen tundra when most bikes are stashed for the winter, and I begrudge them not for seeking whatever comfort they can while riding in harsh climes. Unfortunately for up to 1,390 North American Triumph Bonneville T120 and T120 Black owners, it seems they may have got a 2-for-1 deal they weren’t counting on. Apparently, the heated handgrips have a tendency to expand a bit when activated which can cause the throttle grip to bind and stick in the open position. Needless to say, a stuck-open throttle is bad m’kay, and the possibilities of getting into an accident goes up exponentially at that point.
