Triumph has released a limited edition print range. The prints are a new concept to bring the sleek, artistic design of Triumph Motorcycles to your wall.

The limited edition prints reflect the style and sophistication in Triumph’s bikes and their riders by catering for the modern rider with an eye for contemporary style and design.  This mirrors the Triumph ethos of producing creative, unique products and starts with limited edition prints of the Rocket III and the Speed Triple.

Triumph has taken their direction for the print designs from the pop art movement of the sixties, where design and style were taken to a whole new level.  In 1962, Steve McQueen jumped into legendary status when he rode a Triumph in the film “The Great Escape” and in 1967 Bob Dylan wore a Triumph t-shirt on his classic album cover for “Highway 61 Revisited”.  The pop art phenomenon, as led by Andy Warhol, produced some of the most striking and accessible art, it’s easily understood images and colours made it an instant success.

In 1968 a classic version of the Bonneville was launched, the same year that Warhol famously quoted – “everyone will be famous for 15 minutes” – a comment that hardly applies to the Bonneville.  The Bonnie and Triumph epitomised the new popular culture that Warhol, Dylan and McQueen were creating; rebellious, cool and sexy.  That same year Warhol painted, perhaps his most famous painting, the Campbell’s soup can, it is this ethos and imagery that has been a direct influence on these images.

The prints are originally designed and produced by a professional artist and limited to just 500 per design.  Each print is hand signed by John Bloor and the artist, Andreas Williams, numbered out of 500 and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.  The certificate will be hand-signed by the artist and have a Triumph serial numbered holograph to match the corresponding print for prestige and authentication.

The images are framed in designer matte black frames and clear styrene for a clearer view of the image.  The prints are framed on a thick, acid free mount with the Triumph logo de-bossed on the bottom corner.  The paper is environmentally friendly; it is made from 100% cotton which is also acid free and weighing in at 300gsm it is the thickest and highest quality available.  The mount has a small partition containing a stainless steel plate, etched with the logo of the specific bike for an original finishing touch.

Triumph have mixed areas of detail and solid colour to produce a distinctive and powerful image that is a detailed reflection of the bikes with an aura of the power and charisma they possess.  Proud to be British, Triumph have had a section of the Union Jack flag broken into dots in the background, it is striking up close or from a distance.  The images are distinctively modern, distinctively individual.  Distinctively Triumph.
