Ducati’s biggest festival celebrating the iconic Italian brand’s 90 years of passion, emotions, and excellence - World Ducati Week 2018 – is just around the corner to attract thousands of Ducatisti and passionate motorcyclists from all over the world. Invading the Adriatic Coast from 20 to 22 July 2018 at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli".

Amongst the host of events and attractions is "The Race of Champions" where top Ducati riders from MotoGP, WSBK and other motorsports arena will lineup on the track to battle it out on the new one-off purpose built Panigale V4 S specked out especially for this competition. And 12 of these machines can all be yours. Read ahead.

The third of the World Ducati Week 2018 will see MotoGP and Superbike riders like Dovizioso, Lorenzo, Petrucci, Miller, Davies, Melandri, Rinaldi, Pirro, Abraham, Rabat and Fores, as will first-rate riders like Troy Bayliss who have made Ducati history – all of whom will combat each other in a true competition, from free practice to podium.

Each of the 12 riders will hop on limited-edition Panigale V4 S bikes painted in their own individual racing colors inspired from the bikes used in MotoGP or SBK and will be brimmed with race-spec equipment and tuning. The steering yolk will have a stamp of authenticity showing the rider's name and race number while his autograph will go in the tank in indelible ink.

Technically, the bike feature a series of special components with a complete set of original parts, exhausts included, all of which still confirm for legal road use. The CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, Claudio Domenicali, also will hand over to every owner of the special V4 a signed certificate of authenticity upping the value of the machine.

Once "The Race of Champions" is all wrapped up, us puny riders will have a chance to bid and buy these 12 race-tastic V4 S machines as they will go on the auction site, eBay, from 18.00 pm on Saturday 21 July to 18.00 pm on Saturday 27 July.

Apart from this, the World Ducati Week 2018 will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Monster naked sportsbike. It will have the "Ducati Garage Contest" for the customized Ducati Monster motorcycles created by fans around the world and an exclusive "Monster Village" will be staged inside the Misano Circuit.

Then there will be the Ducati Riding Academy and Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy giving participants a taste of the Enduro, Safety and Flat Track School courses. Of course, you can also test ride the Ducati and Scrambler range around the Misano circuit.
