Having the Portugal Grand Prix experience it seems that the famous pilot has finally reached the moment of truth as it prepares for racing in China. A key factor is the excellent performance of the Bridgestone tires on the Shanghai track in the country where the next Olympic Games will be held.

Also having the tire advantage, teammate Jorge Lorenzo seeks for a place on the podium, something that the RC212V pilot Dani Pedrosa isn’t a stranger of.

We shall wait and see how Valentino’s predictions will turn out, but it seems that it knows best its opponents and the race announces as being great fun both for racers and spectators. Definitely something that shouldn’t be missed!

Rossi confirms:

"After the race Estoril we conducted a test in which we have focused on Bridgestone tires, trying a new material for Shanghai"

"We have found good solutions, so I hope we can start the weekend. So far we have over three races together, and I think that the last two podiums, especially the last obtained in Estoril, on a circuit not very favorable to Bridgestone, have shown the excellent progress made. I hope that Shanghai will be the right occasion to put them all together. "

Looking ahead to the title, Rossi is third with 14 points from the Iberian pair Lorenzo-Pedrosa.

"We're in a bad position in the championship and still lack much in the end, but our rivals are very strong so we can not afford to make mistakes now we must try to take more points as possible. Last year we were not able to win, but this year our bike works very well and, when the tires at our disposal, I believe that we can fight for victory. In 2007 the race was very exciting, a long battle with Stoner, this year I hope for another similar fight with my rivals, but with a different result! "
