Watching motorcycle racing at normal speed is scary enough. But what happens when you slow down the footage? Well, it just gets a whole lot more scary, that's what.

You have no idea what these riders have to do to go fast

At the Isle of Man TT races, speeds are so high that much of the detail of what the riders have to do to keep control of the bikes is lost in a blur.

That's what Sean Corlett thought so he parked himself at a point of the 37.75 mile circuit called St Ninian's Crossroads, which is part of the downhill blast away from the start/finish straight.

Setting his camera up, he filmed the riders coming through at full chat: probably around 180mph+. That's incredible enough but what's even more amazing is when he slows the video down and we see exactly what the bikes are doing and, more importantly, what the riders are putting themselves through to keep the bikes on the ground and heading in the right direction.

Speed is awesome, but slowing things down to get a proper look is even more frightening. If you have ever entertained any thoughts of entering the TT, then maybe this short video will help you change your mind!
