Triumph Motorcycle Sees Growth in a Declining Market

Experiencing a 12 percent growth in July 2018 over July 2017, Triumph Motorcycles America reports that Triumph was the top European motorcycle brand in the U.S. market during the month of July. Despite the overall market showing decline, not only in July, but as an overall affect of the dwindling number of new riders, the retail performance of Triumph Motorcycles was driven by a consistently strong performance across all models in the adventure, modern classic, and roadster segments.

July retail sales performance was a direct result of the tireless effort of the entire Triumph dealer network and demonstrates an incredible level of consumer demand for Triumph Motorcycles,” said Rod Lopusnak, national sales director. “I would like to thank our dealer network for their continued hard work and dedication to delivering success for the Triumph brand.”

Boosted, no doubt, by the overwhelming success of the Bonneville Bobber, which was the fastest selling motorcycle in Triumph’s 115-year history.
