The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy has always been a serious motorcycle and rarely do we see something “fun” based on it. But rare is what German bike shop Thunderbike excels in and that’s why it has transformed the serious Fat Boy into a fun Harley-Davidson Fat Chicken replete with upgrades.

Custom Harley-Davidson Fat Boy By Thunderbike

Getting right into it, the custom Fat Boy says goodbye to its chrome-heavy appearance and switches to sinister all-black everything - the headlight nacelle, forks, engine bay, and fuel tank.

Now, an all-black Fat Boy isn’t uncommon in the custom world, but what makes the Fat Chicken stand out is its Foghorn Leghorn fuel tank decal. This, coupled with the three-tone wheels (red, white, and black), adds some funk to the otherwise serious cruiser.

With that out of the way, allow us to tell you about the other upgrades. To begin with, Thunderbike has lowered the front forks and thrown in an air-ride suspension at the rear. Accompanying the rear suspension is a massive 260-section rear wheel hugged by a custom fender with integrated LEDs.

In the meantime, you rest on a custom leather saddle with red stitching to match the wheels and decals while the in-house made handlebar and footrests ensure a comfy riding posture. There’s also a leather saddlebag in case you want to store something.

Coming to its heart, the 1,868cc, twin-cylinder engine remains mostly unchanged, but a Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde exhaust system promises some extra thump here. You also get custom airbox covers, but these are just for aesthetics.

Can You Buy It?

Sadly, no. Thunderbike built the Harley-Davidson Fat Chicken for a custom who’s probably having a blast aboard it. However, this also means that the bikemaker can do something similar for you, so we suggest you hit them up. Perhaps you could infuse your spirit animal into your custom Harley. A Fat Wolf sounds pretty dope, doesn’t it?
