2015 Arctic Cat XR 550 Key Features:

550 H1 4-Stroke Engine with EFI

Pulling, accelerating and climbing. That’s what our engines are good at. And this one is no exception. The potent 550 H1 engine is a 545cc, SOHC, liquid-cooled single cylinder sporting electronic fuel injection.

"Improving rider comfort and ride quality informed many of the changes. The engine was moved forward in the chassis, giving the rider three additional inches of space in the footwell. A narrower design also puts a rider’s feet two inches closer together than on previous models. The chassis was stretched out two inches to achieve a 52-inch wheelbase and the geometry on the front and rear A-arm suspension set-ups has been changed, giving 10-inches of travel at all four corners. All six models come with rear sway bars as well. Changes to the steering head angle, which has been moved rearward by five degrees, is claimed to make cornering easier. " -- 4wheeldirt
