The Benelli Caffenero was created for those who search for an efficient and fast way of moving around the city streets. The Caffenero has the same size as a medium powered scooter, hence it’s pretty comfortable and safe. You also get a long saddle which offers plenty of space for two adults. Under the saddle you’ll find a lockable storage place which can be used to store various items. Additionally the Caffenero is also offered with a standard luggage rack ready for installation of a top case kit.
The bike sits on relativelly big 16” wheels which are fitted with front and rear disc brakes. Power comes from a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled single cylinder engine with two-valve timing system. The unit cranks out 9,6 kW (13 Cv) @ 7500 rpm and 13,3 Nm (1,35 kgm) of torque @ 6000 rpm.
The instrument cluster is fitted with a large rev counter, speedometer (with odometer), fuel level, cooling liquid temperature lights, high beam light, turn indicator lights and a even a digital clock.

Overview
Designed for city riding, Caffènero sets itself apart thanks to the precious combination of features that not only make it unique, but also have made it one of the most popular scooters:
- size of a medium-powered scooter to guarantee optimum comfort, efficiency and safety in bad weather and good passive protection in city traffic;
- long saddle (with key lock) that is spacious and comfortable, seats two comfortably, has wide footrests that fold in completely for the passenger;
- medium-sized compartment under the saddle with handy built-in space to hold glasses, gloves and documents in the back fairing. Comes with key lock;
- standard luggage rack ready for installation of a handy top case kit. The flat footrest, along with the useful bag hook makes Caffènero even more eclectic when used for city transport. Under the footrest is a compartment for the battery in an optimum position for lowering the centre of gravity and increasing manoeuvrability;
- 16” wheels for moving around city streets safely and in maximum comfort;
- disc brakes on both wheels to allow short braking distances in total safety;
- double front headlight (with large parabolas) with single on-off for high and low beams, together with double front position lights, turn indicators inserted into the bodywork to avoid hazardous protrusions;
- full instrumentation: next to large rev counter and speedometer (with odometer) are fuel level and cooling liquid temperature lights, in addition to the high beam light, turn indicator lights and a practical digital clock;
- double stand, in both lateral and central position, to ensure problem-free parking;

The 4-stroke, liquid-cooled single cylinder engine with two-valve timing system ensures a quiet ride and improvement in the comfort of the rider and passenger, while offering good performance even in the toughest conditions.
