The Benelli Pepe 50 4T / 2T is a pretty unique looking scooter powered by a reliable 4 stroke single cylinder engine.

Its sporty design is underlined by the aerodynamic shield which comes with a headlight set into the centre, an unconventional central section and clear-cut around the tail. You also get a comfortable seat, generous footrests, 16 inch wheels and chromed rear view mirrors.

The modern 2-valve air-cooled single-cylinder engine is mounted on a split single cradle frame made of high-strength tubular steel. The rigid structure of the frame improves the scooter’s stability, directional precision and agility. On the other hand, the ride quality is assured by a front hydraulic fork and a rear shock absorber.

The Benelli Pepe’s braking system consists of a front 220 mm disc with twin-piston caliper and a rear 140 mm drum.

Overview

The Pepe 50 4T is non-conformist, utterly unique in its elegance, and unbeatable in the city. And now it’s even more environmentally friendly thanks to the 4-stroke single cylinder engine. This Pepe is a new way of being a Pepe. You can spot it instantly in the middle of traffic, because no other scooter sports such personal lines: the shield with headlight set into the centre, an unconventional central section, and the clear-cut lines of the tail that contains a smart-looking circular tail light assembly.

Large flat seat, tons of space on the footrest, chrome rear view mirrors are other enticing features. Pepe needs no introduction, because it has been adept at making its mark thanks to indisputable technical features, an original and appealing design, and unmatched agility in manoeuvring traffic. And that goes along with the guarantee of safety that only
16” wheels can deliver.

For 2012 the range is growing: the 2-stroke 50 and Classic version with the same engine gets some new company with the Pepe 50 4T. A modern 2-valve air-cooled single-cylinder engine fuelled by carburettor with electric and kick start. The split single cradle frame in high-strength tubular steel is a guarantee of stability, directional precision and agility. The hydraulic fork enables a wheel travel of 85 mm to confidently tackle even the most critical road surfaces.

The rear shock absorber attached to the swinging engine-transmission assembly is capable of a 55 mm travel. The braking system is oversized to offer the maximum braking power, essential in hectic city traffic, the “habitat” where the Pepe 50 4T really makes a difference: at front is a 220 mm disc with twin-piston caliper, while at the back a modulable 140 mm diameter drum does the job.

The aluminium alloy rims measure 16”, the ideal size to heighten the pleasure of riding
and the feeling of safety even on cobblestones and potholed asphalt. And the weight? Just
93 kg of dry weight, because Pepe is easy – for everybody.

The new Pepe 50 4T, the ecological motorcycle with style is available from March 2012. The colour are black, white and cream. The bike comes with matching top case kit; optional accessories include a windscreen.
