2014 Can-Am Renegade
The Can AM Renegade is an agile ATV that delivers first class ride and handling performances. The ATV is offered with a range of three engines which includes 499.6 cc, 799.9 cc and 976 cc V-twin, liquid cooled, SOHC units. All engines are paired with CVT , sub-transmissions with high, low, park, neutral and reverse.
The ATV’s speed is kept in check by dual 214 mm front and dual 2014 rear ventilated disc brakes ith featuring hydraulic twin-piston calipers.
The Can Am Renegade rides on cast aluminum wheels which are wrapped in grippy ITP Holeshot ATR 25 X 8 X 12 In. (63.5 X 20.3 X 30.5 Cm) front and ITP Holeshot ATR 25 X 10 X 12 In. (63.5 X 25.4 X 30.5 Cm) rear tires.

Cleaner Air to the Engine
The new air box has been reconfigured and placed at a higher, more centralized location for filtering and processing air. The no-tools air box features a dual-room design, capturing dirty air in one portion of the box and clean air in the other before sending it to the engine.

Eliminates Scrub and Camber Changes
The only independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes, meaning the wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion. This ensures the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it. Reconfigured for improved traction and optimal transfer of power to the ground.
Independent front and rear brake controls deliver a sportier ride.
Exclusive to Can-Am, Visco-Lok is a progressively and automatically locking front differential system. The system intelligently transfers power from a slipping front wheel to the opposing wheel with traction. No buttons to push or levers to pull. Get progressive lock-up with no rev or speed limiter.
The Renegade 1000 and 800R wears preload-adjustable high-pressure gas (HPG) shocks, front and rear, with a specific calibration to soak up high- and low-speed bumps and keep the ride smooth. The Renegade also offers a ground clearance of 10.5 in.

Installed on 12-in cast-aluminum wheels, with a centerless design that reduces unsprung weight and offers improved strength. Durability was increased in strategic areas while excess material was eliminated in other spots to save weight.

Exclusive Anti-Theft System
The exclusive D.E.S.S.™ anti-theft system prevents your ATV from starting unless a coded microchip in the key matches a code embedded in the engine control module – so only you can start your vehicle.
The high-strength skid plate is made from proven materials, designed for supreme protection, and has the ability to slide over certain obstacles. Made of .20 in. thick, injection-molded, high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
Can-Am engineers have succeeded at producing a more maintenance-friendly setup. The battery has been relocated under the seat to offer easier access and improved protection, along with the rear brake fluid reservoir, solenoid starter, and relays.
