Because it's mounted to the frame instead of the handlebars, the wind-splitting fairing reduces weight on the fork and handlebars to give the Road Glide responsive handling. Weather protection remains outstanding. The fairing holds a cockpit-style instrument display and a new 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon. Hard-shell saddlebags, cruise control and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection are standard. New black slashing graphics create a bold contrast on lighter color combinations that were not offered in the past. The Road Glide is available in eight color combinations for 2006, including new Fire Red Pearl and new Deep Cobalt and Yellow Pearl
