The new Hero Splendor iSMart is an affordable motorcycle that was specially developed for the emerging markets.

The motorcycle is powered by a 97.2 cc, air cooled, 4 - stroke single cylinder OHC engine which generates a maximum output of 5.74 KW (7.8 Ps) at 7500 rpm and 0.82 Kg-M (8.04 N-M) of torque at 4500 rpm. For enhanced fuel efficiency the engine is combined with a modern i3s technology which automatically switches it off when idle and switches it on when the clutch is pressed.

The unit is mated to a four speed constant mesh transmission with multiplate wet clutch and is fueled by an 8.7 liter fuel tank.

The motorcycle’s backbone is represented by a tubular double cradle frame which sits on front telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers and a rear swing arm with adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers.
