Meet the 2014 Kawasaki Z800 – a true mechanical beast that will blow your mind every time you fire up its engine. At the heart of the motorcycle sits a 806cc , liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-stroke in-line four engine which delivers a maximum power of 83.0 KW (113 PS) at 10,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 83.0 Nm (8.5 Kgfm) at 8,000 rpm. All this power is transferred to the rear wheel by means of a six speed transmission.

For the 2014 model year we get increased performance across the rpm range, adjustable inverted front fork, Piggyback reservoir rear shock, Digital LCD instrumentation, connected header pipes and an optional ABS version.

The stopping power is handled by new opposed, 4-piston calipers paired with larger-diameter 310 mm petal discs.

41 mm inverted fork

41mm KYB Inverted fork contributes to the Z800’s quick, nimble handling, excellent road-holding ability and superb feedback. Optimised for the increased engine and revised frame rigidity the front fork is adjustable for rebound damping and preload.

806 cm3 liquid-cooled, 4-stroke in-line four tuned for strong low-mid range torque

With its larger displacement, the Z800 engine offers increased performance at all RPM. The greater performance is especially noticeable in the low-mid range, adding a greater everyday usability as well as increased riding exhilaration. Shorter final gearing complements the new engine character and emphasises the Z800's stronger acceleration.

Smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission has a gear for every situation, from low-speed city traffic to high-speed highway use. A larger rear sprocket (43T>>45T) emphasises the Z800’s already more powerful acceleration.

Highly communicative chassis

Increased road holding performance, and hence traction, on all types of road surfaces enables both sporty and friendly riding characteristics. Aggressive front cowl

Compact headlamp cowl uses a multi-facet design to create a more aggressive, glaring visage for the Z800. The fierce appearence is one of the key styling elements of the aggressive new design.

Elegant curves of the exhaust header pipes and a buffed finish complement the Z800’s fierce street-fighter styling.

Sharp under-cowl
