Engine

The 505 SX's liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine brings its sensational power to bear on the rear wheels via a hydraulic clutch and close-ratio five-speed transmission. The powerful single makes light of the MX quad's extremely low weight - and hence the same of the competition.

Brakes

Tough MX race use demands top-quality brakes. At the front of the 505 SX, four-piston fixed-caliper brakes from Magura, unique in the ATV world, bite hard into two huge wave discs. Braided steel brake lines all round also come as standard.

Suspension

Camber and caster on the front axle of the 505 SX are just as variable as the track on the rear. Not only the spring preload plus compression and rebound damping are adjustable on the shock absorbers, they also feature separate high-speed and low-speed settings for the compression stage.
