In terms of design, the Yamaha TT-R125LE doesn’t exactly boast of having any flash and panache to it. But where it lacks in sizzle, it more than makes up in substance. Ideally suited for bigger kids to adults, the TT-R125LE comes with a seat height of less than 32" but provides more than 11" of ground clearance. The bike comes with a gripper-style seat, Team Yamaha-inspired colors with matching graphics and front and side number plates to boot. The fuel tank is sleek and narrow, providing the kind of big-bike look and feel while the large, folding, cleated footpegs has excellent footing, even in the most undesirable of conditions. Finally, the bike comes with a push-button electric start that makes it easier for riders to engage the bike for some serious fun out on the roads.

Featuring a potent 124cc air-cooled SOHC four-stroke engine, the Yamaha TT-R125LE produces the kind of torque and broadband power that’s been tuned for maximum off-road performance on a wide range of road surfaces. To aid in engine performance, Yamaha outfitted the bike with a 20mm Mikuni carburetor that ensures crisp, dependable
throttle response while a smooth-shifting five-speed transmission with a heavy-duty clutch has been tweaked to allow maximum versatility.
A reliable CDI ignition system has also been installed, which is sturdy enough to limit maintenance hours whereas an automatic cam chain tensioner provides the kind of minimal maintenance and
longer engine life to make the bike last longer than most of its competitors. Finally, a lightweight exhaust system that includes a USFS-approved spark arrestor gives the TT-R125LE clear throttle for efficient rides, especially on off-road trails.

Brakes and Suspension

The Yamaha TT-R125LE features a rigid frame design that gives the bike a long wheelbase, enough to accommodate bigger riders while also maintaining quick and agile off-road handling. A telescopic front fork measuring 31mm with 7.1" of travel comes with preload adjustability giving the bike enough control and handling, even for the roughest of terrains. Meanwhile, a single rear shock with 6.6" of travel, compression, and rebound damping adjustability allows for predictable handling for aggressive riders. The bike also carries a 19" front wheel and 16" rear wheel that offers great handling and terrain ability while also providing the kind of sharp and predictable steering needed for any off-road bike. These wheels come with front disc and rear drum brakes that give out a strong and dependable stopping power. A lightweight aluminum box-section swingarm with snail-type adjusters are also present, reducing the bike’s unsprung weight and providing optimum suspension performance.
