Yoshimura is considered by many riders a leader when it comes to motorcycle tuning. This is the reason why, Suzuki choose to work with them and announced a range of limited editions of its black GSX-R750 equipped with Yoshimura and genuine Suzuki accessories.
The Limited Edition GSX-R features a fairly distinctive style and is sure to turn heads every time it passes down the street. Each Yoshimura Limited Edition GSX-R is available with a high quality, custom painted Black/Grey color scheme.
The bikes are available in only 25 units and are fitted with performance exhausts, bronze alloys, Yoshimura oil filter plug, case saver kit, steering stem nut and timing inspection cap. You also get black Yoshimura bar end weights and rear paddock stand bobbins.
As far as genuine Suzuki accessories are concerned, the bikes are fitted with rear seat cover, a double bubble screen, tank protector and fuel cap trim.
The Limited Editions cost just £800 more than the standard models and their custom parts worth over £1200, so it sounds like a pretty good deal to us. The Suzuki Boulevard C50T Classic is throwback cruiser that offers plenty of new-world technology. That’s an ideal recipe for anybody who wants a mix of both schools, especially if they can have them in one awesome package.
In terms of style, the Boulevard looks the part of a classic cruiser, complete with bold styling that stands out in a crowd. The huge body of the cruiser belies its long and low rigid-look frame. The design of the bike incorporates timeless laid-back style in the cruiser heritage, complete with rich paintwork, glittering chrome, and deep front and rear fenders with rounded ends. The bike also has a wide passenger seat that makes for comfortable two-up rides, especially for riders that like going on those long-distance joyrides.
At the heart of the Boulevard C50T Classic is a 805 cc four-stroke, SOHC V-Twin engine that comes with a compression ratio of 9.4:1 and mated to a wide-ratio five-speed transmission that features a high fifth gear ratio for relaxed highway cruising. A critical part of the engine is a 32-bit ECM that provides precise control of ignition timing and multi-hole-type injectors while ensuring quick starts and excellent drivability under all conditions. The bike also features Suzuki’s own Dual Throttle Valve (DTV) electronic fuel-injection system that maintains optimum air velocity in the intake tract for smooth low-to mid-RPM throttle response.
As far as handling is concerned, the Boulevard C50T Classic comes with a link-type rear suspension that has been shaped to mimic the hard-tail lines of a traditional cruiser, connecting a truss-style swing arm and a single shock absorber with 7-way spring preload adjustabililty providing 4.1" of smooth and response suspension travel.

Apart from providing motorcycle gear for speed junkies, Icon also like to get their hands dirty from time to time while customizing, obviously, Japanese motorcycles. One of their latest creations is actually called the Kawazuki, originally a 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000 with an ordinary destiny, but which ended up with a modified frame (mounts for rearsets included), a Suzuki SV1000 monoshock and front end as well as with a ’92 GSX-R750 swingarm and rear wheel.
The original engine was fitted with a 1075cc Wiseco big bore kit so that this classic would keep up with modern bikes, but it is a pleasure just to look at it.
Since we’ve seen the Predator Hayabusa last week, we got more interested about Pitstop Motorsport’s past projects and came to see that the shop has made a tradition from creating scary as hell Hayabusa bikes. This here for instance is the King Kong Hayabusa, a standard bike underneath and a monster outside.
The King Kong paintjob with New York in the background is simply more than we can take, but when this bike is moving, it has New York with it on the tail unit, which is a nice touch as well. The only problem is that we can’t spot the beauty anywhere near, but we can only guess it is a matter of time until we do.
Predator, the famous alien with a taste for people, has inspired New Jersey custom builder Pitstop Motorsport to create a corresponsive two-wheeled version, which will surely frighten anyone seeing it in the rear view mirror.
Essentially a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa, the bike is technically unchanged while the bodywork modifications are more than obvious and always gather a crowd around the Predator Hayabusa. Now this is something that owner Roderick “Slick Rick” McCullough found out from the very first ride as it got two tickets because onlookers held up traffic.
We can’t imagine how scary this visually modified Suzuki Hayabusa looks at over 190 mph, but can’t really confess we’re that eager to find out, so it is better the video attached after the jump shows the scariest Predator bike standing still. See it after the break.
It is enough to take one look at this 1980s Suzuki Katana 1100 to see that the bike is hours and hours of work away from its original state and all the credit goes to UK-based Steve Adams, owner and customizer of what turned out to be one of the most beautifully reinvented legends among Japanese motorcycles.
Among the modifications brought to our Brit’s Katana we would have to name the 1,170cc Wiseco piston kit, gas flowed head, EFE 1100 cams with adjustable cam sprockets, Keihin 37mm carbs, titanium bolts and custom-made exhaust system as being the most important and this is only in the engine department.
The frame was reinforced and a Suzuki Bandit 1200 swingarm was bolted on it. This Suzuki now rolls on 17-inch Dymag magnesium alloy wheels supported by a GSX-R750 K4 front fork and Ohlins rear shock units. The high performance brakes feature Yamaha R1 and Suzuki TL1000 parts such as the Brembo radial master cylinder up front, while the rear brake is thumb-operated.
How’s that for a way to make an old motorcycle new again?
Gregg’s Customs and Jon Reed of Sport Chrome have modified this unique Suzuki Hayabusa to resemble its smaller GSX-R siblings by mounting a completely new tail section on a subframe made in-house. The custom unit will become available from Gregg’s Customs in the future and will allow owners to enhance the sporty looks of their high performance bikes.
Named the Rockstar Hayabusa, this custom doesn’t feature turbos, nitrous and not even chrome (like most custom Hayabusas do), showing how the customization process should be based on originality and resourcefulness, not necessarily on fitting a Busa with the most expensive performance parts and simply chrome the bodywork instead of going for an immediately recognizable paintjob. Way to go on this one!

Roaring Toyz has just finished customizing this Suzuki GSX-R 1000 for Mat Mladin! Does the name sound familiar to you? Mat Mladin is the winner of six titles in the AMA Superbike Championship and the recent founder of Bike Gear Warehouse Company, which is also the reason why he ordered this custom made motorcycle.
The Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K9 by Roaring Toyz will be officially unveiled in two days at Laguna Seca and it will then start a promoting tour for the newly born company on all the tracks where AMA Superbike rounds are planned. The bike will then be taken to Australia (Mladin’s home country), where it will be used to promote Bike Gear Warehouse in their job of distributing Roaring Toyz custom sportbike parts.
