Video: Watch MotoGP World Champion Joan Mir Drag His Helmet Onboard A Supermoto Bike
There are no two ways about it. MotoGP riders have crazy riding skills and can push the boundaries of what any bike can do, before reaching their own limits.
However, at times, even these serious riders have some fun. In this video, 2020 MotoGP world champion Joan Mir attempts a helmet drag during one of his training sessions.
Master of backflips Travis Pastrana together with Ken Block and the guys at DC shoes have come up with a unique customization idea for the FMX Suzuki bike ridden by Travis. They thought at getting rid of the tires (they were too comfortable anyway) and slip the bike into something more stylish, like these pares of shoes. Said and done! The bike is featured in a DC ad and on an episode of MTV’s Nitro Circus, where you can see Travis doing a backflip and finally tearing the rear wheel apart in one of the sickest burnouts we’ve seen in a long time. See it all for yourself in the video attached after the jump.
Drag racing is the way to go if you plan on becoming the fastest female motorcycle rider on Earth and it seems that Jennifer Robertson has got that right. Growing up in a family that is passionate about racing, Jennifer inherited the passion for motorcycles from his father and started to rider since it was six years old.
Currently, she is riding a Turbo Hayabusa and attempts to hit 223mph – the record for the fastest women on a motorcycle – and claims “…we just got to get the bike to work. I can do it”. Well, that’s the spirit!
Which better way to compare a Suzuki Hayabusa with a Kawasaki ZX14 then on a straight line? And which better place to do that then at the O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis?
The Hayabusa was going for a good run, but it seems that previous burnouts for worming out that rear tire worn it too much, ending up blowing. It is amazing that the rider was still conscious after such a crash and I can understand why it didn’t got up its feet.
Computer games have their small monsters in the closet, but Hollywood beats them all. There can be no bigger proof than the scene in Mission Impossible 2 in which Ethan Hunt races around on a Triumph and competition soon arrives on a Suzuki.
Bullets, burnouts, jumps, everything was there for a box-office success. You don’t see this being done any more, but you can’t really say you loved it, don’t you?
Have you ever prepared a kiss for so long? Or have you even tried to kiss so many ladies in one day? The guy in this video clearly did both and although the girls seem to like him and he’s no stranger to the handlebars, things don’t always go perfect. Check it out!
