Triumph is setting up stage for a new 1200 Scrambler
This is Triumph’s efforts to prove that they still can rule the popular scrambler category. Bringing in a significant update in capability and style to the iconic British company, the potent 1200 Scrambler prototype builds on the 900 Scrambler’s position as the fun and accessible machine and vies for top honors at the crowded segment which every motorcycle manufacturer is going collectively mad over. Luckily for Triumph, they have a history with the Scramblers that dates back to the legend Steve McQueen.
The 1200 Scrambler boasts of the new high torque engine used on the Brit’s Bonneville lineup, and to handle all that additional power, this Scrambler gets equipped with bigger wheels, bigger brakes, and bigger suspension. This machine will make it its life’s purpose to give a couple of sleepless nights to the BMW R NineTs’ and the Ducati’s 1100s’.

There’s little you can reproach to Triumph about the way their Daytona 675 looks, but ways to make it better are continuously found both by tuners and owners around the world. What we’ve recently came across is actually a supposition regarding to weather Audi-like LED headlamps further enhance the aggressive note of middleweight British sports bike.
We think this looks quite striking and might catch on to the motorcycle industry as well, but in the end it’s all up to the Hinckley-based company to make their move as result of feedback from fans.

No doubt about it, these guys ca really work with their computers and create an exact result of their imagination, but we reckon that this is what the Triumph Rocket III RR will remain.
The English site Performance Bikes has created the latest hypothesis – a very accurate one, if you allow – regarding the 2010 Triumph Daytona 1050. Basing on the fact that Triumph will use the three-cylinder engine currently powering the Speed Triple and Tiger models, they designed basically a sharper Daytona 650 on steroids.
Indeed, the 2010 Triumph Daytona 1050 is expected to look much like his middleweight brother and the rendering, although very realistic, is a little exaggerated. For instance, those Audi-like headlights do look good, but would never light the bike’s way into the night while the passenger seat is rather narrow, but apart from that it shouts out loud the Triumph name.
With a single-sided swingarm –and the implicit Speed Triple wheel –, narrow body and two beautiful colors, this is one very good overall image of what Triumph will be adding to their lineup in 2010.
