Yamaha India has launched a new model from its very stylish and classy SZ variants. This bike is called the SZX and it is poised to attract the huge mass’ attention.
The Yamaha SZX comes with an attractive and elegant body, and that’s putting it lightly. Then there’s the engine. The SZX is powered by an all-new 153cc 4-stroke air-cooled, SOHC single cylinder engine that has been tuned for maximum performance. Extra power can be achieved in the low to mid-speed range, ensuring a stress-free ride on all kinds of roads. The bike is also equipped with an AI System and a large-capacity muffler with catalyzer for cleaner exhaust.

By relying on volume production, Yamaha wants to achieve its target of capturing 10% of the Indian market share in the coming years. With bikes like the Yamaha SZR, they’ve been doing a pretty good job in capturing the imagination of the youth.
In order to achieve their objectives, Yamaha recently launched a number of models under the SZ series, one of which is the SZ-R.
The Yamaha SZ-R has the same design as the SZ-X, although the bike does come with a number of modifications, including new color options and the addition of a new front disc brake. In addition, the Yamaha SZ-R comes with a tachometer and a tank protector that has been fitted to the fuel tank to make it appear even larger. The bike also has a clear lens flasher, a colored handle grip end bar, and painted muffler end caps along with special graphics.
Finally, the SZ-R comes powered with a 153cc air cooled, 4 stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine that produces 12 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 12.8Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. It’s not a world-beater, but it’s got enough juice to make a difference to whoever is riding the saddle.
