Alonso takes the pole postion in the Italian Grand Prix
Fernando Alonso kept his advantage obtained yersterday in the practice session and took the pole position at the Italian Grand Prix. He was followed by his team mate Lewis Hamilton who took the second place.
Behind McLaren’s drivers place Ferrari’s Felipe Massa with 1m 22.549s. Bmw had a great day due to the fact that its Nick Heidfeld obtained he 5th position. Felipe’s team mate Kimi Raikkonen obtained the 6th position with 1m 23.183s . Behind Raikkonen was the other Bmw driver Heikki Kovalainen.
Driver of the Williams team Nico Rosberg obtained the 8th place overtaking Toyota’s Jarno Trulli with 1m24.382s . The top 10 was completed the Honda monoopst driver by Jenson Button.
Mark Webber, the driver of the Red Bull-Renault overtook Rubens Barrichello and obtained the 11th position.Alexander Wurz, Rosberg’s team mate took the 13th place while Anthony Davidson, driver of the Super Aguri-Honda obtained 14th place. Giancarlo Fisichella obtained for the Renault F1 team the 15th position overtaking Sebastian Vettel from the Scuderia Torro Rosso.
Ralf Schumacher was overtaken by Takuma Sato, Davidson’s team mate from the Super Aguri Team while Vitantonio Liuzzi, the pilot that was recently dropped by Scuderia Torro Rosso for the 2008 championship, obtained 19th position.
David Coulthard obtained the 20th position overtaking the two Spyker cars ,driven by Adrian Sutil and Sakon Yamamoto, who got their usual last places.
