Barrichello will continue driving for Honda in 2008
Rubens Barrichello revealed the fact that he will continue to collaborate with Honda F1 team also next year.This will represent Barrichello’s third season at the wheel of the Japanese monopost since he left Ferrari at the end of 2005.
At the press conference Barrichello looked very happy with his decision and said that he is delighted to confirm that he will drive for Honda also in 2008.In his opinion 2007 has been very hard so far but he believes that the team is heading in the right direction.He also told the press that he will continue what he proposed when he came at the Japanese team, that he will develop a long-term relationship and help also help to build a strong team.
Barrichello didn’t do so much for the team this season, his best result being the 9th place at the British Grand Prix.But the Brazilian is confident and he thinks that the new staff members that came to the Japanese team, including Wiliams’ chief aerodynamicist Loic Bigois, will definetely help them to improve the team’s performances.
The Japanese team also announced that Jenson Button will continue to drive for them.Button is for the moment their "oldest" driver, this being his 6th year with the Japanese squad.
