Bmw Sauber confirmed the fact that they will continue to collaborate with their current drivers,Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica,in the 2008 season.

This means that it will be the 3rd season for the German driver Nick Heidfeld. Kubica made his debut at Bmw in August last year, being one the brightest talent in the 2007 season, after the big surprise Lewis Hamilton.

Heidfeld said that his wish to continue driving for Bmw Sauber came true. The German driver completed his declaration by saying that he will try to improve his skills to make Bmw Sauber one of the best teams in the championship. Heidfeld is currently the 5th in the driver’s championship table, with 42 points, and seeing his skills we really think that he will work harder to improve Sauber’s performances.

Kubica, his team mate, is currently 6th in the driver’s championship.
Mario Theissen, Bmw Sauber’s boss, says that Kubica is extremely fast and he has already a word to say between the "big names" in the Formula 1 championship.

From Thiessen’s declaration we understand that things are currently working as planned for the team. Everybody is happy and this is a very important point of view because when people work in a happy enviroment great performances start to appear. Maybe Bmw Sauber will be a serious competitor for Ferrari and Mclaren in the 2008 season!
