David Coulthard showed everyone that he didn’t forget his old team and had spoken in defence of McLaren.Coulthard raced for the team for 8 years, between 1996 and 2004.He said that he knows very well McLaren’s boss Ron Dennis and he has no reason to lie, for sure he is saying the truth that the team had never used the secret documentation..

The British driver said that McLaren engineers are too clever and their integrity is too high to be involved in this case.He is also unhappy with this case of the spying controversy and belives that could have a damaging effect to the integrity of the sport.

Too much bad publicity has been brought to both of the teams. All this action is dissapointing and looks like this story is not going to stop here.As we said earlier McLaren has been summoned to appear before FIA World Motor Sport Council later this month and answer the charges related to the possession of unauthorised information belonging to Ferrari.

FIA wants McLaren to answer charges that have breached Article 151C of the International Sporting Code. The article says that: "Any fraudulent conduct or any act prejudicial to the interests of any competition or to the interests of motor sport generally."
