JDM Drag Race: 495 HP Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 7 Versus 488 HP Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Whether it’s between stock or modified cars, drag racing is always a good way to pit two (or more) machines against each other. It’s even more epic when said machines are some of the biggest rivals in rallying history. Today’s dose of drag racing comes from the YouTube channel Officially Gassed and is between a modified Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and a modified Subaru Impreza WRX STI with about the same power.
Ken Block and Audi - A Match Made in Heaven?
Remember all those gymkhana videos with millions of views on YouTube? Of course you do. For years, Ken Block has been working with Ford, and the only company before that was Subaru. Now, though, the 53-year old rally driver has moved to Audi - did you see this coming?
2021 Manhart ER 800
In stock form the E63 S has enough power to take on models like the M5. It is in fact a fair fight: 603 horsepower vs. 591 horsepower! But what happens when the BMW M5 is updated to deliver around 800 horsepower (well, 789 horsepower to be more exact)? Think about models like MH5 800 developed by Manhart. Well, in this case you need the E63 S to deliver more power too. And it is the same Manhart that has the solution for you: the ER 800 with its 800 horsepower!

Suzuki announces its contender for sports-tourer class honours, taking the GSX-S1000F and giving it a thorough update, with more comfort, more tech, better weather protection and optional hard luggage. Mat Watson and his team from ‘Carwow’ brought three hot budget hatches to the drag strip. The contenders were the Hyundai i20 N, the Ford Fiesta ST, and the Volkswagen Polo GTI. All of them make in the whereabouts of 200 horsepower. The fact that every car has an aspect where it shines the best and is better than its competitors makes up for an interesting race. Which hatch do you have your money on?
2022 Bimota KB4: Detailed Specification Revealed
While we’ve known for a while what it looks like, up to now we’ve been short on detail specification of the new Kawasaki-engined Bimota KB4. In advance of its likely appearance at the EICMA motorcycle show in November, the specification has now been confirmed.
2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV - Driven
Mitsubishi revealed the fourth-generation Outlander back in February 2021 with a lot of styling influenced by the Engelberg Concept, but if you’re hoping to get all that new goodness in an Outlander PHEV, you’re out of luck. Why? Well, because while the rest of the Outlander lineup transitioned into a new generation, here we have the forgotten Outlander PHEV that’s still stuck in the past, flaunting styling and tech that’s beyond dated. So, is it still worth it to buy an Outlander PHEV in 2021 or should you look for alternatives? Our tester had a final price of $39,835 and its generation went into production in 2012, so you should probably read on if you really want the answer to that question.
The Most Powerfull Sportsbikes against The Tesla Plaid Is Now Fair Game
Carlos Lago from Edmunds pits a brand new Tesla Model S Plaid, with 1000bhp against a Suzuki Hayabusa and a Kawasaki ZX-14R on the drag strip. We might be used to motorbikes pretty much destroying any supercar you care to mention but it seems that electricity might have the edge here.

2022 Caterham Seven 170
When Caterham launched the Seven 160 back in 2013 everyone was impressed by its weight: 490 kilos (or about 1,080 pounds). Even if it only delivered 80 horsepower, its power-to-weight ratio was set at 163 bhp per ton. When you think that back in 2013 cars like Hennessey Venom GT had a power-to-weight ratio of about 1230 bhp-per-tone, the 160 may not look that impressive. But, for a tiny car, it was more than enough.
Now Caterham came with an even lighter successor for the 160. The new Seven 170 weighs only 440 kilos (970 pounds) and has a power-to-weight ratio in excess of 170 bhp-per-ton!
2021 KTM 890 Duke
KTM juiced up its 790 Duke platform with a more powerful engine, beefed up electronics, and improved suspension for its 2021 release in the U.S. market. New graphics are available on this new platform that comes with a robust electronics suite to help you keep the thing dirty-side down. It rocks a pricetag that’s a full grand less than the more-racetastic “R” variant for an ever so slightly more-relaxed type of rider.
2022 Infiniti Q50
The Japanese trio of luxury car companies comprised of Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti has been on the downfall in recent years. Lexus is holding up fine, but Acura and more so Infiniti have been feeling the heat in recent years with competition from Mercedes, Audi, and BMW. Now, Infiniti is trying to give people more reason to buy the Q50 sedan for the 2022 model year by giving it several new upgrades. Is it enough to keep the Sedan alive in a market where Sedans are slowly going extinct?
Jeep Grand Cherokee L - Driven
At the onset, it seems like the Grand Cherokee L is nothing but a Grand Cherokee with an extra row of seats. Essentially, that’s pretty much true, but, it is much more than just that. The Grand Cherokee L rides on a new platform, comes with a whole lot of new tech features, and is arguably the most off-road capable SUV in the segment. The standard Jeep Grand Cherokee is a big hit, selling over 200,000 examples every year. So, instead of coming up with a completely new model altogether, Jeep decided to build on the Grand Cherokee’s reputation by offering a product with the same ethos, but a lot of distinct differentiation.
