BMW’s revised X3 is here and it brings a lot of cool new features
And there's a lot more than just the new aesthetics
The new headlight design is sharper and narrower
Slightly diferent kidney grille and a new bumper design
The pincer-shaped LEDs look futursitic, especially with the black outline
The rear foglights have been relocated close to the new diffuser
They come from the iX3 and are optional (of course)
There are 11 colors from the stanard set alone and the M and Individual lines will add even more
12.3-inch (optional) touchscreen and a center console ala-BMW 4-Series
They feature Sensatec upholstery.
And there is a wide variety of trim materials and colors available for the interior
Plenty of room for the family and a cargo capacity of 19.4 to 56.5 cubic feet
A 48-Volt mild-hybrid system has been added to all engine options
Up to 31 miles on electricity, over 117 mpg, and 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds
With 360 horsepower, 367 pound-feet, and a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds
The 2022 X3 starts at $44,695 and can go up to $58,795 for the M40i
With a similar pricing, interior space, and more engine options
It has a great interior and a good choice of MHEV and PHEV engine options, but slightly less cargo space
Despite the crowded and competitive segment
