We have to admit: the BMW X6 is not one of our favorite cars. But, we have to give credit to the X6 M and the X6 M Competition versions for being very powerful SUVs. In fact, with 617 horsepower under the hood, the Competition version could easily stand in line with SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus.

German-tuner Manhart Performance found a way to further improve the X6 M Competition, and, we have to admit, with the new body kit, we kind of like the new SUV.

What changes were made under the hood?

From factory, the BMW X6 M Competition is offered with a twin-turbo, 4.4-liter V-8 engine that delivers a total of 617 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque.

Manhart was capable to squeeze an extra 100+ horsepower via an MHTronic Powerbox or ECU Remapping. There is also a new stainless steel exhaust system with valve control connected to the power unit and ending with four 100-millimetre tailpipes.

Manhart did not reveal the new performance figures for the MHX6 700, but we have to remind you the base X6 M Performance goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 177 mph.

What other changes were made?

Like any other Manhart kits, the MHX6 700 will also feature a complete body kit made of fine Forged Carbon. The final touches are the new mirror caps, two-piece rear side louvres and side rear skirt attachments all made in carbon fiber. The car is painted in a black finish with numerous accents in gold.

The car rides on a new set of 22-inch wheels in Classic Line-Y-spoke design and featuring a satin black finish with colored accents in gold. Manhart is also offering an optimized suspension with H&R springs that will reduce the ground clearance by 30 millimeters.

For the interior, the changes are minimal and only include the steering wheel spoke trims and the gearshift paddles made in carbon fiber and new floor mats.
