2021 Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak Is A 750 HP Monster

Bentley is set to break new records on June 27!

Pikes Peak International Hillclimb will take place on June 27

And Bentley seems to be ready for the challenge!

With a start line set at 9,300 ft at the highest point at 14,100 ft, Pikes peak is quite the challenge

But, the new Continental GT3 has been designed to break records!

Described as the most extreme road-going Bentley ever built

The 2021 Continental GT3 has been modified in all the most important aspects: aerodynamics, chassis and engine

The most extreme updates were made under the hood

Where the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V-8 received new pistons and conrods, new intake manifold and one-off Inconel exhaust manifolds

The result is an amazing output of 750 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque

A secondary cooling system has been installed at the back of the car to help with the demanding Pikes Peak conditions

The standard transmission has been replaced with Bentley’s standard racing unit

And the chassis has been tuned to suit the specific nature of the Pikes Pikes course

The front and rear axle feature significantly reduced camber, and the springs and the anti-rolls bars were also replaced

The aerodynamics have been improved by 30%

Mostly thanks to a big rear wing and two-plane front splitter flanked by separate dive planes

The car features a cool black and gold theme

Combined with Bentley’s instantly-recognizable Pikes Peak mountain graphic - same we have seen on the Bentayga and the previous Continental GT

The Continental GT3 is now in its final testing stages

And Bentley hopes to brake new record with it!
