Audi Might Have a Big Surprise At the 2022 Geneva Motor Show

The Audi A6 E-Tron is a lot closer to production than we all thought!

It hasn’t been that long since Audi revealed the A6 E-Tron Concept

The new concept appeared very close to production ready, and it was actually closer than we thought

A new report from Roadshow claims that the A6 E-Tron will enter production in 2023

Not only that, but it will be revealed sometime in 2022, and we’re guessing it’ll happen at the Geneva Motor Show

Don’t expect the production model to change much

The new A6 E-Tron will ride on the PPE platform, and will be offered in different states of tune

Audi promised “basic versions optimized for minimum consumption and maximum range”

The concept was representative of the range-topping A6

It had a 100 kWh battery that was good for around 435 miles on the WLTP scale or roughly 370-400 miles in the real world.

The dual-motor, AWD setup was good for 469 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque

62 mph (100 km/h) should be dispatched in four seconds or less

As for the lesser models, expected anywhere from 250-350 horsepower and sprint times somewhere in the 7 second range

The production model could start around $70,000, putting in the current S6’s territory.
