The current generation Chevrolet Corvette made its American debut back in 2019, and it went on sale shortly after. In fact, for the American market it already saw a few updates. But in Europe the mid-engine Corvette Stingray is just now going on sale. It will be offered in both coupe and convertible versions, and, for the first time in Corvette’s history it will be offered in both left- and right-hand drive.
Prices will vary depending on the market. For example in Germany the coupe is priced at €86,900 and the convertible at €93,400, while in UK the coupe is priced at £74,200 and the convertible at £79,200.
What's different for the European Corvette Stingray?
As we said, the European version of the Corvette will be offered in both coupe and convertible versions, and in two trim levels - 2LT and 3LT.
The Z51 package includes:
- manually adjustable threaded spring seats for the suspension
- Brembo® brakes with larger rotors
- front air inlets for cooling
- electronic limited slip differential
- shorter axle ratio
- performance exhaust system
- aerodynamics package for reduced lift and improved stability
- Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4S tires
Also, notice that the 1LT trim level is missing from the European lineup, which means that the European customers will get a lot more standard equipment with the 2LT trim. This includes:
- performance data recorder
- head-up display
- navigation system
- 14-speaker Bose sound system
- rear camera mirror and heated
- ventilated seats
There is a total of 12 exterior colors to choose from and a wide range of additional carbon flash exterior details, including: spoiler, exterior mirrors, wheels and convertible roof. These can be combined with 6 interior colors, and three different seats, ranging from GT1 to GT2 and Competition Sport seats.
As an option, customers can also go for a special front suspension lift system that will raise the car's front by 50 mm (2 inches).
