The Porsche 911 Turbo has an all-wheel-drive system and more torque, but the Ferrari F8 has more horsepower and is lighter
Daniel Abt posted a video of two fast convertibles taking each other on: The 992 Porsche 911 Turbo S vs the Ferrari F8
The 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that churns out 641 ponies and 590 pound-feet of twist
The Ferrari F8, on the other hand, comes with a 3.9-liter V-8 engine that cranks 710 horses and 568 pound-feet of torque
The biggest difference apart from the power outputs is that the Porsche comes with an all-wheel-drive system whereas the Ferrari features a rear-wheel-drive setup
In the first race, the 911 Turbo S flew past the F8 and kept the lead for around a quarter-mile. The F8 then took the lead and beat the Porsche 911 at the half-mile mark
The second race was even more exciting. Although it started the same way, the Ferrari couldn’t get past the Porsche this time, thus leveling the scores
Then there was a rolling race which saw the Ferrari have a much better kickdown and it kept a healthy lead till the very end to eventually win the race and the series 2-1
