The Tesla Model S is quicker off the line, but let’s not forget its going up against an F1 car

'Driven' uploaded a video of a Tesla Model S go up against an F1 car in a series of tests and races

The Tesla Model S P100D comes with a dual-motor setup that puts out 671 hp and 701 lb-ft of twist combined

The F1 car features a 3.0-liter, naturally aspirated V-10 engine that cranks 770 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque

In the drag race, the Tesla was quicker off the line, but the F1 car won. It recorded a time of 9.6 seconds whereas Tesla finished in 10.8 seconds

Next up was a rolling race from 40 mph which saw the F1 car get the win despite the Model S being quicker off the line

The third round was a 0-100-0 test. The F1 car won this, too, as it stopped around 30 meters before the Model S

The last round was the moose test that saw both the cars tackle the cones at different speeds. The F1 car comfortable won all of them
