Ford is back at the SEMA Show with a plethora of concepts. The company has with concepts for the Bronco, the Maverick, the Ranger, the F-150, the Mustang, and the Mustang Mach-E. We’ve already covered the Bronco concepts, so here is a list of all the Ford truck concepts – the Maverick, Ranger, and the F-150 – from this year’s SEMA edition.

Ford Maverick

D.R.A.G.G. Maverick

The D.R.A.G.G. Maverick concept is the brainchild of Oxnard Union High School and the police department of Oxnard, California. This is a beach rescue concept that’s based on the new Maverick truck. If you’re wondering what D.R.A.G.G means, then it stands for Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti.

The truck is fitted with Ford licensed accessories like:

- Toolbox swing cases- Watersports carrier- Roof rack and crossbars- Off-road cube lights- Fender flares- Neosupreme front seat covers from Cover King- Sunshade

Air Design Maverick

Air Design is an American overland body kit manufacturer and has come up with a Maverick concept of its own at this year’s SEMA Show. The company has opted for the Lariat trim in the SuperCrew body style equipped with the FX4 Off-road Package. Of the two engine options, this concept features the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. It makes 250 ponies and 277 pound-feet of torque. It is available with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.

Air Design USA has equipped a lot of stuff on this concept. There’s a styling package that includes fender flares, door moldings, and tailgate appliqué. The truck is also equipped with 31-inch all-terrain tires wrapped around 18-inch wheels. The large tires are possible because of a 1.5-inch lift kit. There’s a bed cap here as well.

On the inside, you get floor mats, rear under-seat storage bins, and a portable refrigerator. In terms of performance upgrades, the company has installed a cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips. Finally, there’s a roadside assistance kit as well.

Tucci Maverick

The final Maverick concept comes from Tucci Hot Rods. The company has opted for the Maverick in the XLT trim with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost and the all-wheel-drive system. It gets the true-blue hot rod treatment here. This includes a wider stance for the truck and muscular fender arches with 3D-printed fender flares. It also comes with a 3D-printed front lip and a rally-inspired 3D-printed spoiler.

In terms of performance upgrades, the truck comes with a custom Borla cat-back exhaust with dual carbon fiber tips and coil-over shocks. Tucci has equipped custom wheels for a retro vibe to this hotrod and wrapped them in meaty tires. The company has also hunted down some parts from the Ford accessories bin, like the hard roll-up bed cover, spray-in bedliner, and a tailgate spoiler.

Inside the cabin of this concept, you’ll find an F200 IR dashcam, a windshield sunshade, four Recaro Sportster seats, racing harnesses, and custom-painted trim accents. Overall, Tucci has managed to give the Maverick a proper hot rod appearance.

Ford Ranger

Attitude Performance Outside Magazine Ranger Tremor

This long-named Ranger concept was designed in collaboration with Outside Magazine. This is a true-blue overlanding vehicle that comes with oodles of exterior and off-road equipment upgrades. It started life as a Ranger Tremor and has been converted into a beast.

This Ranger is finished in a two-tone Cactus Gray and Carbonized Gray paint job. The truck comes with stuff like a six-inch suspension lift, front bumper and sport exhaust from Ford Performance Parts, and Rigid lighting. Inside the cabin, you get custom Outside Magazine-inspired Katzkin leather seating surfaces.

As for the overlanding equipment, the Ranger comes with:

- Yakima Bed rack - Thule Tepui rooftop tent- Watergen atmospheric water generation system that pulls potable water straight from humidity in the air

Skyjacker Ranger

Skyjacker is known for its suspension systems, lift kits, etc. The company has taken a Ranger under its wings and given it a twist that’s definitely SEMA-worthy. It features:

- A Skyjacker suspension six-inch lift- Front and rear off-road bumpers- WARN winch- Rock slider side steps - Rigid Industries A-pillar lighting- Rooftop off-road lightbar

In terms of performance upgrades, Skyjacker has opted for an EcoBoost engine Power Pack performance calibration, a cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips, and a differential cover. There’s no word on what kind of boost is expected from the EcoBoost engine Power Pack performance calibration, though. In the stock form, the turbocharged EcoBoost mill displaces 2.3 liters and puts out 270 ponies and 310 pound-feet of twist. Even if the calibration is more to do with the fine-tuning of the truck with the upgraded suspensions system, it will still be a hoot-and-a-half to drive on beaten paths.

Ford F-Series

Hellwig F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid

This concept by Hellwig is based on the F-150 XLT SuperCrew. The company has opted for the new 3.5-liter PowerBoost hybrid V-6 engine that Ford introduced on the 2021 model. The engine puts out 430 horses and 570 pound-feet of torque. This concept is also equipped with FX4 off-road package. Apart from all this, Hellwig has installed many other products as well. For starters, it comes with:

- 17-inch wheels shod in 35-inch tires- Front and rear sway bars- Suspension lift kit- Pro Series steel helper springs- Ford Performance rear differential cover- Custom Borla cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips

The truck also features a portable Ford Performance air compressor kit, body armor rocker panel protection, winch, off-road front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, topper, and fender flares. An underbody rock light kit is also present, along with an array of spotlights and floodlights.

As for the overlanding gear, the Hellwig concept comes with a refrigerator, an extendable 270-degree awning, and a 10-gallon shower to make sure your camping goes smooth. On the inside, you get an off-road recovery kit by Warn Industries, all-weather floor mats, a vehicle safe by Console Vault, and Katzkin custom leather.

Seeing how the Rivian R1T will come with a myriad of overlanding equipment, the stuff from this concept also needs to be offered in packages for customers to choose from. Not sure how well it will do on the standard F-Series, but on the F-150 Lightning, it could be a hit. }

BTR F-150 Tremor

While the Hellwig concept was a work truck that could also be taken off the roads and for camping, the BTR F-150 Tremor is a complete camping vehicle without the extra fluff. The Tremor model comes with a lot of upgrades over the standard trims, but the most prominent upgrades include front and rear locking differential, optional Torsen limited-slip front differential, and a torque-on-demand transfer case. The front and rear springs are retuned to increase the ground clearance and accommodate bigger tires. It features Tremor-specific monotube shocks at the front and twin-tube shocks at the rear.

The BTR concept is based on the F-150 Tremor and comes with camping gear, like:

- Yakima roof rack and rooftop tent- Built-in shower- Pull-out kitchen with running water- Hitch-mounted bike rack

The concept features a portable refrigerator/freezer, plus a projector setup in the rear for entertainment. These things will be powered by the built-in Pro Power Onboard generator.

Hypertech F-150 Hybrid Lariat

Hypertech’s F-150 concept is based on the Lariat trim with the Hybrid engine under the hood. The company has made quite a few upgrades that are related to its off-roading prowess, but the highlight is on its utilization of the Pro Power Onboard generator.

For the uninitiated, Ford offers the F-150 with an onboard generator called the Pro Power. It offers 2.4 kilowatts of standard power and 7.2 kilowatts as optional. The generator can be used to charge your tools, computers, and power stuff like a 12-inch miter saw, a circular saw, a hammer drill, a half-horsepower air compressor, floodlights, and a gang battery charger, all at the same time. To put things into a better perspective, this means powering 28 average refrigerators.

The truck comes with a series of ports – 120-volt, 20-amp outlets, a single 240-volt, and a 30-amp outlet for bigger equipment. A 2.0 kW Pro Power Onboard generator will be available on the non-hybrid engines and is good enough to run an electric heater, a TV, portable speakers, a mini-fridge, and a blender.

Coming back to this concept, it features the Pro Power onboard with 7.2 kilowatts of onboard power. Hypertech has equipped a custom-built sliding rail system that houses an electric grill, refrigerator/freezer, sink, ice machine, washer/dryer. Apart from this, the concept also features an air compressor, off-road lighting, cat-back exhaust, off-road bumpers, upgraded wheels and tires, and a bed cap with lockable storage by Leer.

Addictive Desert Designs F-150 Raptor

This concept by ADD is based on the F-150 Raptor. The F-150 Raptor is now offered only in the SuperCrew style and comes with a 2.0 kW Pro Power onboard generator. The F-150 Raptor is powered by the same 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 EcoBoost engine that makes 450 horses and 510 pound-feet of twist as before. It comes with a whole lot of upgrades in the suspension, off-road gear, and exhaust setups.

ADD hasn’t made a whole lot of changes to it, but they are still noteworthy. On the outside, you can see custom graphics along with a new wheel and tire setup. The aftermarket company has also swapped the stock bumpers in favor of its own off-road front and rear bumpers. Apart from this, it also features a bed-mounted tire rack, rock slider steps, a chase rack, and lighting from Rigid Industries.

Advanced Accessory Concepts F-250 Super Duty Tremor

Advanced Accessory Concepts has picked the F-250 as its baseline to give us a SEMA-worthy concept. The truck is powered by the 7.3-liter V-8 Godzilla engine that produces 430 horses and 475 pound-feet of torque. Advanced Accessory Concepts has equipped the truck with:

- A Borla cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips- Ford Performance Parts locking hubs by Warn Industries- Coil-over suspension system- Upgraded front and rear sway bars

The F-250 also comes with 17-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch tires. There’s a Warn winch mounted to an upgraded off-road bumper, along with heavy-duty Warn shackles. A portable air compressor kit by ARB, rocker panel protection, and cargo management system are also present. The lighting department receives some upgrades, courtesy of the high-mounted work light and exterior lighting by Rigid Industries.

On the inside, there are Ford accessories like all-weather floor mats, vehicle safe by Console Vault, seat covers by Covercraft, portable fridge/freezer by Indel B, Trigger Controller Six Shooter power distribution system, 12-volt interior switch mount, and PowerBass USA stereo system. Well, this is one of the concepts in this list that comes with a ton of upgrades.

MAD Industries F-450 Super Duty Platinum

If you thought that Advanced Accessory Concepts picked up the biggest F-Series truck, well, you’re in for a surprise. MAD Industries has taken the 2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty Platinum under its wings. This Crew Cab model is powered by a 6.7-liter V-8 Power Stroke engine. The truck rides on forged wheels wrapped in off-road tires. It comes with front tow hooks, splash guards at the front and rear, wheel well liners, tough spray-in bedliner, Ford Oval “Black Pack” emblems, “Super Duty” hood lettering in black chrome.

There’s also a coil-over suspension, airbags, upgraded sway bars, custom four-inch axle-back exhaust with black chrome tips, and MAD Industries color-matched accents on the outside. There is a host of other hardware equipment here, like shelves from Ford Performance Parts, portable air compressor kit, electric retractable bed cover, bed cleats, swing cases, rear and side flip-down bed steps.

Apart from this, MAD Industries has equipped a trailer camera, spotlights, and a refrigerator/freezer. On the inside, you can find all-weather floor mats, vehicle safe by Console Vault, rear seat cover, and pet hammock by 4Knines.
