Ford Will Showcase The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning On May 19 - Are You Ready?

Ford has finally revealed the timeline and also confirmed the electric truck will wear the legendary Lightning moniker

Ford has confirmed that the upcoming electric Ford F-150 will be called F-150 Lightning and it will be revealed on May 19.

The automaker noted that the Lightning “can power your home during an outage” and will be "even quicker than the original F-150 Lightning performance truck".

This means a sub-five-second 0-60 mph time can be expected

The F-150 Lightning will be revealed on May 19 at 2130 ET on 30+ channels, including the company’s Facebook and Twitter pages, its YouTube channel.

Production of the truck will begin in Spring 2022
