GMC Shows off the Hummer EV's Watts to Freedom Mode To Celebrate Independence Day

The WTF mode that can make a 9,000-pound vehicle sprint to 60 mph from a standstill will make you go WTF!

To commemorate Independence Day, GMC has released a video of the Hummer EV's 'Watts To Freedom' mode in action

'Watts To Freedom' mode is essentially a launch control, but it's interesting to see how the company has made this even more exciting than it already is

Using words like 'Armed' instead of 'Activated' or 'Engaged' makes the whole process a lot more fun. The same is showcased in this video

Even the supposed tutorial on how to use it makes use of pretty neat graphics...

... once you release the brakes, the EV will sprint to 60 mph from rest in three seconds flat!

0-60 mph in three seconds is an excellent figure given the fact the Hummer EV weighs over 9,000 pounds and isn’t exactly aerodynamically-efficient

Swipe up to watch the video and learn about the Hummer EV, its delivery schedule, price, etc.
