We recently covered some pretty epic Porsche conversions and this one would fit right in. The 911 GT3 RS never had a cabriolet version, so you have to make one yourself. There are two ways to go about it. The first one involves taking a GT3 RS and chopping its roof off. The second way is to get a lesser 911 Cabriolet and slap the body panels from a GT3 RS. Obviously, the latter is much easier, which is why Wicked Motor Work from California did exactly that.

What you’re actually looking at is a Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S Convertible, with $200,000 spent on it to make it look like a 991 GT3 RS. } To our knowledge, the car is currently a one-off and if you want something unique, the GT3 RS Cabriolet is currently for sale at PCarMarket.

These include the front and rear bumpers, louvered front fenders, side skirts, rocker panels, exhaust diffuser, hood, rear wing, side air intakes, and all carbon fiber bits you’d normally find on a 991 GT3 RS.

As for the wheels and tires, the 991 features HRE wheels, 20-inch at the front and 21 at the back, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber.

This being pre-facelift 991 Carrera S Cabriolet, the engine is a 3.8-liter normally-aspirated flat-six with 400 horsepower and 325 pound-feet (440 Nm). This allows the drop-top 911 to hit 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 3.8 seconds on its way to 187 mph (301 km/h). Having the GT3 RS body kit installed might alter these stats as it creates more downforce.
