The 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB Is a V-6 Hybrid that Is Better Than the F8 Tributo

The Ferrari 296 GTB makes 818 horses combined, can sprint to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, and comes with an electric only range of 16 miles

Ferrari has finally revealed its first-ever road-going V-6 hybrid car called the 296 GTB

This F8 Tributo successor makes 100 horses more and doesn't lag behind in terms of performance

The 296 GTB doesn’t look as aggressive as sharp as the other Ferrari models. It is one of the most toned-down Ferraris we've seen in recent times

It will come with an active rear wing that’s capable of producing 794 pounds of downforce at 155 mph

The 296 GTB comes with a 2.9-liter, V-6 hybrid engine and an electric motor

This is an all-new 120-degree twin-turbo mill and comes with IHI turbos burrowed between the ‘vee’. They can spin at a maximum of 180,000 rpm!

The engine churns out 654 horses, while the rear-mounted electric motor adds another 164 ponies. This brings the combined power output to 818 horses and 546 pound-feet of torque

The rear-mounted electric motor draws power from a 7.45 kWh battery. It offers 16 miles of pure electric range and can be driven up to 83 mph

0-60 mph time is same as the F8 Tributo

The 296 GTB takes merely 2.9 seconds to sprint to 62 mph from a standstill and from 0-124 mph in 7.3 seconds; 0.5 seconds quicker than the F8 Tributo. Top speed is rated at 205 mph

The interior gives the SF90 Stradale vibes. There’s a fully-digital instrument cluster along with capacitive buttons all around

Ferrari will also offer an optional Assetto Fiorano package on the 296 GTB. It will come with a special livery which is an ode to the 250 Le Mans

The package adds a lot of carbon fiber components to reduce the weight. It comes with stuff like Lexan rear window, Michelin Cup Sport 2 R tires, and Multimatic shock absorbers

The price and arrival date are still not announced
