The Petersen Automotive Museum has confirmed a new exhibit that will discover the world of Hypercars, featuring some of the fastest and most exotic cars that money can buy, starting December 4, 2021. The Exhibit Hypercars: The Allure of the Extreme will rotate up to 30 vehicles over the coming 18 months to showcase what a Hypercar really stands for, and why they continue to entice the automotive community the world over.

A "Hypercar" according to the Petersen Museum, is a vehicle that stands for the pinnacle of performance, technological innovation, exclusivity, and rarity. The exhibition will feature projects from well-known brands as well as smaller marque’s that have captivated the world with their unrivaled performance, simplicity, and beauty.

The exhibit will feature some ultra-rare cars like the

-Bugatti Veyron 16.4

-Devel Sixteen

-Aria FXE concept

-Caparo T1

-Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta

-Delage D12

-Koenigsegg Regera Honey

-Koenigsegg Agera RS Final Edition

-McLaren Speedtail

-Hennessey Venom F5 (Design Model)

-Laraki Sahara

-RAESR Tachyon Speed

-Pagani Huayra Hermès Edition

-Rimac Concept One

-NIO EP9

The exhibit will also contain two motorcycles that fit the bill, the Lotus C-01 and the Aston Martin AMB 001. The Czinger 21C will also be showcased briefly and will be on display, towards the end of the year for the final two weeks of December ’21.

The Exhibition Hypercars: The Allure of the Extreme will be showcased at the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery and the museum lobby. The exhibit will be divided into two parts, the first of which will run from December 4, 2021, to September 22, 2022. The second wave of vehicles is scheduled to arrive on September 17, 2022, and depart on May 14, 2023.

So you’ve got plenty of time to go take an up-close look at some of the most exclusive and extreme Hypercars ever made. I say this because these photos really don’t do justice to the real thing and you really can’t appreciate the beauty of these vehicles unless you see them in person. So if you're in the Los Angeles area or visiting L.A., you really can’t miss this one. Visit the Petersen Museum's website for more details about ongoing and upcoming exhibits at the venue.
