Will the added premium be worth it? Read on to find out

Well, the wait is finally over, one of the most highly anticipated cars of the year, the C8 Z06 is finally out. But how does it stack up against the standard Stingray? Lets find out

The Z06 by default wears a far more aggressive body when compared to the Stingray and it isn't just for show. Step it up to the Z07 package and you get extreme aero bits that feature a giant wing, a front splitter

Things aren't radically different inside the cabin, but you'll find more carbon fiber, aluminum, and Alcantara throughout the interior. There are six options to choose from and over 1000 permutations and combinations to play with

The biggest highlight on the new C8 Z06 is the 5.5 liter DOHC V-8 engine that produces 670 horsepower

That is a significant performance gain over the Stingray that even with the added Z51 package, produces 495 horsepower

The engine note on the new Z06 is also on another level. The sound track, out of the box can give any Italian exotic a run for its money

As far as ride and handling is concerned, the Z06 gets an upgraded suspension setup as standard and sits on wider tires

There isn't any word on pricing yet, but expect it to be somewhere in the region of $90,000

While that might sound steep, do keep in mind that Z06's will be far more exclusive and hold their value well in the long run. Swipe Up to Read More.
