A 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup, which goes by the name, LOT Lizzard, is designed for pure performance, and with a supercharged V-8 crate engine, it produces over 700 horsepower.

P2 Fabrication, in Long Brach California, has modified a Silverado and they have clearly been influenced by prerunners, stadium super trucks, as well as other high-performance pickups. What they’ve ended up with, is a truck that can pull 11’s and donuts, all day long.

The truck was originally outfitted with a naturally aspirated 5.3 liter V-8. It has been swapped for a 6.2 liter Chevrolet B-15 V-8 crate engine, when combined with the LSA supercharger, this engine now produces 730 horsepower at the wheel. It is mated to a 4L80 transmission and features a custom stainless steel exhaust unit.

With those kinds of numbers, this is a truck, that can be heard well before it can even be seen, with a deep and throaty roar from the exhaust complemented by the whine of that massive blower. All of that power is channeled through a set of 35-inch Continental Terrain Contact tires, wrapped around a pair of Procomp Beadlock wheels. They have no trouble spinning and burning as the truck speeds through the streets.

In the video, it can be seen that, when accelerating hard, the tires frequently slip and begin to smoke. It’s obvious that this pickup is purpose-built to handle the tight corners, extreme acceleration, and big jumps.

As far as the looks are concerned, this Chevy Silverado's modified appearance announces its sporty ambitions with a large bash plate up front, flared out fenders, and a flat-black grille. With the addition of Sparco Rev seats, the interior has also been transformed. A roll cage has been added for extra safety should this Chevy roll over while getting some air. Most of the dash though is intact, although the stereo has been swapped with a unit that is a tad bit more modern.

Other mods on this Silverado include an upgraded Ridetech suspension, made up of a Sport Truck four-link configuration, as well as coil-overs in the back in place of the original leaf springs. Surprisingly, the stock calipers were retained, but the rotors have been with new drilled and slotted StopTech units.

The LOT Lizzard project combines the greatest components of a sports car, with the sturdiness, durability, and usability of a pickup. That LSA supercharger whine is addictive and sure does draw you in. I for one, can’t wait to see more of this truck in action.
