The Pininfarina Battista needs no introduction. It officially made its debut at the Monterey Car Week a couple of months back with a price tag of $2.2 million. The photos of it on the winding roads of California right before the said event gave us an idea of how gorgeous this EV is. Now, it has officially received the award. The automaker announced that the Battista won the coveted Design Award at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy. Well, we couldn’t agree more.

This Doesn’t Surprise Us

The production-version Pininfarina Battista made its European debut at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este a couple of days back and seems to have impressed everyone. Pininfarina announced that the EV was voted for the coveted 'Design Award' by the guests at the event.

The Battista that graced the event appeared in an unseen specification. It was finished in a Verde Paradiso metallic paint. The front nose and the rear wing were given the same treatment, whereas the lower body and the diffuser were treated with a Carbon Accent Pack. The ‘Goccia’ roof receives a Nero black finish. The hypercar also came with forged aluminum, ‘Impulso’ Gloss Black wheels with brushed anodized aluminum center-lock rings. The brake calipers were painted in an understated silver.

On the inside, the car was upholstered in sustainable tan leather. This included the seatbelts as well. An Interior Jewelry Pack provided brushed anodized aluminum detailing, similar to the exterior. The steering wheel and floor mats were finished in black. Apart from this, black exposed signature carbon detailing was also done here for the sporty yet premium effect.
