Three years after previewing the C_Two concept, Rimac has finally unveiled the production version called the Nevera. The Nevera is an all-electric, 1,900+ horsepower electric vehicle that can sprint to 60 mph from rest in just 1.85 seconds! It comes with a WLTP-estimated range of 342 miles and even supports fast charging with speeds of up to 500 kW. Rimac will build just 150 examples of Nevera and comes with a sticker price of €2 million (approximately $2.5 million) a pop. Are you willing to put your money on this Croatian product?
How Is The Rimac Nevera On The Outside?
Rimac had revealed the Nevera as the C_Two concept at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The hypercar has since gone through a plethora of changes and the production-spec model is quite different from the initial prototypes.
The Nevera looks pretty sweet on the outside. The swept-back headlights, butterfly doors, and the naked carbon fiber elements make the Nevera look hot. It rides on lightweight, forged alloy wheels that also feature a unique aerodynamic design to channel air to the brakes.
Rimac Has Paid Special Attention To The Nevera’s Aerodynamics
A lot of work has been done on the aerodynamics of the car. The company has been tweaking it and doing test runs since the beginning. The Nevera is said to be 34-percent more efficient aerodynamically than the concept. Everything from the profile of the hood to the shape of the pillars has been tweaked to be as aero-friendly and ventilated as possible.
The diffusers, splitters, and radiators have been designed to channel more airflow. Mind you, the car runs on 1,914 horses and a pretty big battery pack. So, it needs all the cooling possible. The hypercar comes with a ‘Low Drag’ mode that reduces the drag coefficient to 0.30. You can switch to ‘High Downforce’ to boost the downforce by 326-percent!
How Much Does The Rimac Nevera Weigh?
With a carbon fiber sub-frame, a lightweight monocoque, and carbon fiber elements all around, you would expect it to be quite light. But, that’s not the case here. The Rimac Nevera weighs 4,739 pounds, with a 48:52 weight distribution at the front and rear. A big reason for this is the large 120 kWh battery pack, four motors, and a gearbox on each axle.
How Is The Rimac Nevera On The Inside?
The interior is quite plush and luxurious. The two-seater comes with tan upholstery that goes well with the carbon fiber inlays all around. The car features three screens – one behind the flat-bottom steering wheel, one on the center console, and the third one in front of the passenger.
The Rimac Nevera will be offered in three trims from the factory – GT, Signature, and Timeless. But, as is with any uber-luxurious automaker, it allows you to go bespoke customize the hypercar based on your tastes and preference.
How Much Power Does The Rimac Nevera Make?
The Nevera, named after a Mediterranean storm, is a fitting name for the hypercar. It comes with a quad-motor setup that churns out 1,914 horses and 1,741 pound-feet of torque combined. The front and rear wheels are each connected to a pair of single-speed gearboxes. It also features all-wheel torque vectoring.
The braking duties are taken over by 15.4-inch Brembo carbon-ceramic discs with six-piston calipers. The Croatian automaker has noted that the electric motors are completely maintenance-free throughout their operating life. The Nevera also comes with seven different drive modes, including a drift mode to put all that torque to good use:

How Quick And Fast Is The Rimac Nevera?
The automaker had already announced the 0-60 mph time and the top speed in the past, so this isn’t exactly a surprise.
The car in its prototype form was tested by the famous Misha Charaoudin, who worked at the Nurburgring, and it literally brought him to tears! We can’t wait to see how to reacts to the production-spec model.
The hypercar also comes with something known as the Driver Coach, which is essentially an AI coach to guide your on-track performance. It makes use of 12 ultrasonic sensors, 13 cameras, six radars, and the latest NVIDIA Pegasus operating system. This will be available from 2022 via over-the-air upgrades.
How Much Can The Rimac Nevera Travel On A Single Charge?
The Nevera comes with a 120 kWh battery pack that is good to go for 342 miles when driven sedately. These are WLTP figures, so expect the EPA estimates to be under 300 miles. However, it supports charging speeds of up to 500 kW. So, when plugged into a DC fast-charger with 500 kW capacity, then the Nevera can recuperate from 0 to 80-percent in just 22 minutes.

How Much Does The Rimac Nevera Cost?
Rimac will build only 150 examples of the Nevera and each one is priced at €2 million. This is approximately $2.5 million as per the exchange rates at the time of writing this article. Since the automaker will offer bespoke customization options, expect it to cross the $3 million price in no time. Rimac didn’t announce when the car would be coming, but the bookings have been open for a long time. There were rumors that the car has been sold out, but the automaker clarified that only the first-year allocation is sold out for now.
