When we came across Auditography’s YouTube page, we were mesmerized by the video-editing skills. Not taking anything away from the tastefully modified cars covered on the channel, but it’s the editing that makes them look even more drool-worthy. The channel seems to be a fan of the Audi RS6 Avant because this is the second time a highly-customized example has been shot in the span of a month. Unlike the 700-horsepower blue wagon, this time, it’s a 1,000-horsepower red example that’s conquering the Alps.

This RS6 Avant Is Red-Hot In Terms Of Looks As Well As Performance

Finished in a tango red exterior shade, the super wagon comes with a black grille, black roof, black mirror caps, and black stripes running on the hood and the side of the body. It rides on 22-inch MTM forged wheels. Matte-finished MTM tailpipes peep from the derriere and complement the diffuser from the same company.

It comes with Recaro podium seats inside the cabin, finished in the same dual-tone shade as the exterior. There are some carbon fiber elements, too. Other than this, there are no radical changes here.

1,000 Horses and 0-62 mph in 2.7 Seconds

There is no mention of the transmission, so it must be running on the same eight-speed automatic gearbox with the necessary changes to handle all the power, of course. Power continues to be sent to all the wheels.

In the stock version, the wagon is no slouch. It takes 3.6 seconds to sprint to 60 mph from rest. But this beast is on a different level altogether. It sprints to 62 mph from a standstill in just 2.67 seconds! Keep the accelerator depressed and it reaches the 124 mph mark in just 8.2 seconds. It has a top speed of 218 mph. Quite a monster, this.

The changes made to the engine include removing the Vmax limiter and adapting a motor control. An intake connector is placed in front of the turbocharger with an enlarged cross-section and large-volume intake hoses. It also features MTM-upgraded turbochargers with a larger turbine shaft, larger compressor wheel, reinforced axial bearings, and enlarged turbocharger inlet. Finally, even the standard boost pressure sensors were upgraded.

Conclusion

This video was shot in the Alps in Bavaria, Germany. With all the power under the hood, the mountainous range was not intimidating for this super wagon. The RS6 Avant is a practical vehicle that can also double up as a daily driver apart from the weekend fun. So, in case you were wondering its status, it is street-legal even with all these mods.

The red, roaring beast in the picture-esque location makes for a great watch. What are your thoughts on this beast? Watch the video below and share them with us in the comments section.
