The folks at Autotopia LA covered a 1956 Star Chief restomod by Fusion Motor Company

The car comes with gorgeous looks, a plush interior, and a 900-horsepower engine under the hood

It comes with a lot of chrome and bling, and features steel bumpers

The Star Chief rides on slick wheels wrapped in thick, low-profiles rubber

This is a convertible and comes with a soft top that can be operated using a lever inside the cabin

The car comes with an air suspension with three preset settings

The cabin comes wrapped in chocolate-colored upholstery

Things aren’t too modern here in terms of aesthetics and everything seems period-specific, including the steering wheel and the gauges

This customized Star Chief rides on a Roadster Shop chassis that’s been custom-made for it

It is powered by a Chevy LSX V-8 crate engine with a Whipple supercharger that makes close to 900 horses. The engine is mated to a GM 4L80-E transmission

The car costs close to a million bucks and is to have already found a buyer
