This Lamborghini Huracan EVO's Self-Confidence Was Shattered When It Faced The Tesla Model S Plaid

The Tesla Model S Plaid was way too hot for the Lamborghini Huracan EVO

Brooks from ‘DragTimes’ uploaded a drag race video on his YouTube channel. It was the Lamborghini Huracan EVO taking on the undisputed drag strip champion, the Tesla Model S Plaid

The Huracan EVO comes with a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V-10 mill that makes 630 HP and 443 lb/ft of torque. All four wheels are powered by a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It runs on Pirelli P Zero tires

The Tesla Model S Plaid features a tri-motor setup that churns out 1,020 horses combined. It features a single-speed gearbox that powers all the wheels. This Plaid rides on Michelin Pilot 4S rubber

The Model S Plaid weighs 4,833 pounds, almost 1,200 pounds more than the 3,645-pound Huracan EVO. However, it didn’t matter as the Plaid ran all over the EVO in all three races

Race 1 of 3:

The Huracan EVO was quick, but not Plaid quick. It took 10.834 seconds to finish the quarter-mile run at 130.43 mph. The Plaid, on the other hand, took 9.402 seconds at 149.33 mph

Race 2 of 3:

The Plaid let the Huracan get a headstart. But, it didn’t matter. The Italian took 10.847 seconds at 130.99 mph, whereas the Plaid, despite the late start, took 9.437 seconds at 148.62 mph

Race 3 of 3:

The EVO recorded a comparatively good reaction time, but again, it wasn’t enough. It finished the race in 10.897 seconds at 130.81 mph, almost 1.4 seconds slower than the Plaid’s 9.491 seconds at 147.99 mph
