If you are a fan of the car and have always wanted to own one, well, here’s your chance to do so.

A 1990 example has come up for sale on CollectingCars and it can be yours if you act fast. The highest bid for this Testarossa at the time of writing this article is $63,000.

What’s Special About This 1990 Ferrari Testarossa?

Ferrari built close to 10,000 copies of the Testarossa, but this particular example features a rare Nero-over-tan leather combination. This black Nero shade example looks to be in mint condition in the images. It comes with sweet-looking pop-up headlights the ‘star’ wheels.

The current owner replaced the lug nuts to rectify some torque wrench marks. The wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. The auction site notes that there is no damage to the bodywork and there are no noticeable scratches and scuffs either.

This Testarossa comes with tan leather upholstery inside the cabin. The leather has creases and wrinkles, but no significant wear. The center console and dash are wrapped in brown leather. The car features an analog instrument cluster and a period-correct dealer-fitted Alpine stereo system. It came with stuff like electric windows, air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats, and pop-up headlights from the factory. The car is also equipped with a reversing camera around the number plate holder, along with an Italian flag decal on the rear bumper.

Power is routed to the wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. It can sprint to 62 mph from a standstill in under six seconds and has a top speed of 180 mph.

This example was purchased by actor, director, and stuntman Charles Picerni. The car was later sold and is currently with this second owner. The car was last serviced in July 2014 in California. The belts, water pump, camshaft, distributor, and crank seals, were replaced. Engine oil and filter have been changed annually despite the low running in its second innings, and other fluids have also been replaced as needed.

The seller has mentioned that you will also be getting the original owner’s manual, tool roll, spare wheel, and the Carfax report along with the car. As mentioned earlier, the current bid stands at $63,000 with nine hours for the auction to close at the time of penning this article. So far, it seems like a steal because Testarossas generally go for six-digit figures in auctions. Check the car out and share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
