Watch The Audi RS6 and The Nissan GT-R Go At Each Other's Throats On a Drag Strip

This battle between the GT-R and RS6, both tuned, is arguably one of the closest races we’ve ever seen

The folks at Officially Gassed - OG pit a tuned Nissan GT-R against a tuned Audi RS6 in a series of straight-line races

The Nissan GT-R comes with a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo V-6 engine that churns out 666 horses and 627 pound-feet of torque here

The Audi RS6 is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 engine that cranks 700 horses and 738 pound-feet of twist

The engine is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox on the GT-R...

… and an eight-speed torque converter with an all-wheel-drive system on the RS6

The GT-R comes with a Stage 4 mod and includes stuff like 1,000 cc injectors, bigger intakes, and an ECU tune. It weighs 3,858 pounds

The RS6 features an APR Stage 1 tune and a Milltek cat-back exhaust system. It weighs 4,575 pounds, which makes it over 700 pounds heavier than the GT-R

In the 0-60 mph run, the GT-R recorded a time of 2.78 seconds whereas the RS6 fell short by just 0.01 seconds, taking 2.79 seconds

Next was the solo quarter-mile run. The GT-R took 10.9 seconds, but the Audi beat it by the same 0.01-second margin, taking 10.89 seconds to the finish line

The third round was a rolling race. This, too, was as close as the others, with the RS6 beating the GT-R by the smallest of margins

Lastly, it was the drag race. The Nissan beat the Audi comprehensively here to draw out the series 2-2
