What Engines Can We Expect In The 2023 Acura Integra?

The 2023 Acura Integra is happening. Here’s what Engines We can expect

Integra fans can rejoice, as the next generation is nearing production

Although no engine options have yet been revealed, this is what we can expect

It's not going to have the TLX Type-S' V-6 engine

Because Integra is going to share a platform with the ILX and Civic, a V-6 would create packaging issues

V-6 engines will remain exclusive to larger Acura models

Models like the MDX and TLX can still be had with V-6 engine, in hybrid or non-hybrid variants

We could see the K24 again

Currently, the 2.4-liter, normally-aspirated inline-four is found in the Acura ILX and makes 201 hp and 180 lb/ft

The 1.5-liter turbo-four is another contender for a base engine

In Si trim, it makes 205 hp and 192 lb/ft. It may also be the one used for the hybrid version

The sportiest Integra is expected to adopt the Civic Type-R engine

Currently, the 2.0-liter, turbo-four makes 316 hp and 295 lb/ft. It could also come with all-wheel drive
